Kaginushi Konro Large Yakitori Grill - BQ-8T

Kaginushi Konro Large Yakitori Grill - BQ-8T

Kaginushi Kogyo was heavily affected by the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake and is still rebuilding. We hope to have their grills in stock in 2026. Join our mailing list to find out when they're back!

This big guy is meant for 10-15 people, the whole gang and then some! You'll find this model in some hipper restaurants.

About Konro Grills The Japanese word “konro” indicates any heat source used for cooking. A konro barbecue is a special kind of Japanese grill that is generally long and narrow enough that the yakitori skewers can rest on the walls of the box and not fall into the coals below. There are also wider versions to accommodate larger pieces of meat, like a ribeye steak. Kaginushi Kogyo konro grills are uniquely made from diatomite sediment found in Japan's Noto peninsula, Ishikawa, and Hokkaido. This material is ground, mixed with water, molded, and baked into blocks. You can read more them here.

Konro Grills are also often paired with Binchotan charcoal, which you can read about here.
